New York City is a force field that changes you quickly once you move here. It has such a strong personality that you can’t help but adapt, or it spits you out!
It’s been a little over three years since I landed at JFK with my life packed up in four bags and a petrified cat in a box. That day was the beginning of my rigorous training as a New Yorker. Yes the feeling was instant, but the skills have a learning curve.
